What is the Bungalow Fair?
The Bungalow Fair (aka Bungalow Fair, Arts & Crafts Lectures, Show and Sale) is a weekend-long event that includes an exhibit and sale of antique and reproduction wares, along with educational lectures on the Arts & Crafts Movement. It continues to be the premier event of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and Historic Seattle's most popular yearly offering. History
The Fair is host to over 50 exhibitors from across the country who specialize in services and items designed for Arts & Crafts enthusiasts: architects, interior designers, antique dealers, and craftspeople in metal, pottery, tile, glass, textiles, lighting and furniture. Also exhibiting are book dealers and those who deal in ephemera relating to the Arts and Crafts period. How can I become one of the Exhibitors at the Bungalow Fair?
Good question! Each year we have approximately 50 Exhibitors at our annual Bungalow Fair. Many return year after year. In fact we have several that have been with us since the beginning. If you are interested in possibly becoming one of the exhibitors, please visit Becoming an Exhibitor.
I'm from out of town. Can you recommend any lodging accomodations?
Yes. One of our event sponsors is the Inn at Virginia Mason. The Inn is an adaptive reuse of a 1920-era apartment building (The Rhododendron), and includes a pleasant restaurant and charming rooms. It is two blocks away from Town Hall and from the offices of Historic Seattle and a short walk downhill to the central business and retail district. There are several parking options near the hotel to accommodate cars, vans, and trucks. Parking is available for those staying at the hotel at an extra charge.
Who do I ask if I have additional questions?
Please contact our Manager of Volunteers and Events,
Luci J. Baker Johnson at lucib@historicseattle.org .
Thank You Bungalow Fair Sponsors!
