Planned Giving
Landmark your legacy by designating Historic Seattle in your estate. As a legacy donor, you'll be a part of Historic Seattle's Keystone Society and receive benefits, including access to a special donor reception and tour discounts. We will work with you to ensure that your generous and visionary estate gift makes an impact in the area(s) of your interest, which can include underwriting educational programming, establishing a legal assistance fund for advocacy efforts, endowing support for a Historic Seattle property of your choice, and more. IRA Charitable Rollover
Are you at least 70 1/2 years of age? You can avoid realizing taxable income by directly transferring from your IRA to Historic Seattle. If you're 72 or older, a charitable transfer may also help you meet your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). To make a charitable rollover gift, simply instruct your plan's administrator to directly transfer a gift to Historic Seattle (up to $100,000 per year; Historic Seattle's tax ID is 91-1729777). Please consult your financial advisor to best evaluate how donating through your retirement fund can benefit you and your specific circumstances.
