Did you know that apples have been grown at the Good Shepherd Center (GSC) for over 100 years? Thanks to local community preservation efforts, Historic Seattle’s stewardship, and support from City Fruit, this 11-acre site in Wallingford remains one of refuge and sustenance.
Stop by anytime for side-by-side tastings of heirloom apples and homemade baked goods. Learn about different varieties, our innovative organic pest prevention methods, and the history of the GSC site.
Tasting tables will be set up on the lawn at the south end of the main building.
Cost: Free! No registration necessary.
