About

Across Seattle, neighborhood groups are working to save the places they love. Whether you’re interested in preservation advocacy or already active in it, this event is for you.

The program will include one hour of presentations. First, Cynthia Brothers of Vanishing Seattle will speak about her efforts documenting displaced and disappearing places, communities, and cultures of Seattle. Next, a selection of neighborhood groups will share stories of preservation successes and challenges.

Stay for informal networking time with representatives from neighborhood groups and individuals after the program. Light refreshments will be served.

Cost: Free! Advance registration appreciated.

Registration for this event has closed.

Photo: Neighborhood preservation advocacy takes many forms. At this 2018 Heart Bomb, community members showed their love for C&P Coffee in West Seattle by creating valentines and sharing them on social media.
