Spring Members Meeting: University Masonic Lodge

Tuesday, May 21, 2019 | All Events (see all) 4338 University Way NE
Seattle, WA 98105

Tucked away on the Ave between the University of Washington Book Store and Bartell Drugs is a 1909 brick building constructed to house University Lodge #141, a local chapter of the world’s oldest fraternity. Lodge members will guide a tour of the building, and mural expert Roger van Oosten will speak about Ernest Norling, the famous WPA artist whose work adorns all four walls of the lodge room.

About Members Meetings: Four times a year, Historic Seattle invites its members and the public to learn about places of historic or architectural interest in our community. These free events include social time and a short quarterly business meeting before diving into the history of the meeting space. Come learn with us!

Cost: Free! Advance registration appreciated.
