Preservation Celebration
2019 Honorees
On September 19, 200+ guests gathered at the Georgetown Ballroom to celebrate preservation, enjoy a performance by Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, and remarks from Cynthia Brothers of Vanishing Seattle, and raise more than $59,000 in support of our mission.
2019 Awards
This was our first year featuring a specific neighborhood – Georgetown – for the benefit and other programming, including a Plates, Pours, & Preservation tour of local businesses on August 25 and collaboration with Georgetown’s Art Attack on December 14 at the Palace Theatre & Art Bar. In 2020, we will spotlight a different neighborhood and hope you will join in the fun to learn more about the places that make our city so special.

Washington Street Boat Landing
Presented to Ron Wright & Associates/Architects for their restoration of the Washington Street Boat Landing Pergola, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and located in the Pioneer Square Preservation District.
