Tolliver Temple | 2024 Community Advocacy Award
We look forward to hosting an in-person program celebrating our 2024 Community Advocacy Award recipient, Tolliver Temple!
Tolliver Temple Church of God in Christ is the perfect recipient for this award due to its proactive effort to seek landmark protection for its historic building, ensuring that a piece of Central District history lives on in a community that continues to experience considerable change, both culturally and physically.
To honor Tolliver Temple, we’ll be learning about the building and it’s history from Pastor Kenny Isabell, historic resources consultant Sarah Martin, and congregation member Edith Harrison.
Event Logistics
The program will run from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 3. All registered attendees will receive a reminder email within 72 hours of the program.
