Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love. Why not send a Valentine to one of your favorite places in Seattle?
Join Historic Seattle and like-minded lovers of our city in crafting handmade valentines, known as “HeartBombing.” HeartBombing is a fun, public display of affection – a city-wide love letter that raises awareness about what’s cherished in a community.
We’ll provide some of the basics – construction paper, markers, tissue paper, and glitter glue. You decide which building to HeartBomb and personalize your valentine with your own items such as string, buttons, salvaged objects…the sky’s the limit.
You’ll take your heart creation and snap a shot of you and your valentine at your special place, sharing on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
So come on down to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Filson Flagship store, enjoy live music from Honey Mustard, grab a drink, and get your creative juices flowing. Give a little love to places that matter!
InterUrban seeks to inspire conversations about achieving more livable communities through historic preservation.

Filson opened its new flagship store in November 2015. Located in Seattle’s SoDo district, the 6,000 square-foot building is where it develops, samples, cuts and sews its own goods. The company got its start in 1897 “dressing adventurers on their way to the Klondike Gold Rush and later outfitted cowboys, loggers and other hardworking types with durable, albeit expensive, outerwear.”
