Seattle Materials Build the City

Tuesday, July 28, 2020 | All Events (see all)

About this Program:

What would the “Preservation Station” series be without the man who built our education programming for 20 years? In this final segment of the series, Larry Kreisman takes us through the materials in our built environment, from timber to terra cotta.

About the Speaker:

Lawrence Kreisman, Hon. AIA Seattle, was Program Director of Historic Seattle for 20 years and Director of the Seattle Architecture Foundation tour program from 1990-2003.  He has been recognized for significant work in bringing public attention to the Northwest’s architectural heritage and its preservation through courses, tours, exhibitions, lectures, articles, and 11 books.
